It’s our turn to give back!
We have reached the R6500 mark for our Charity Day! Help us get to R10 000!
To close off each years Events Calender, we always do a Charity Day. Being a family-oriented club, each year we alternate between “people causes” and “animal causes.”
This year, we have selected three extremely deserving animal causes to support:
1. Barking Mad:
– an animal shelter dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming South Africa’s abandoned animals
– they also support 24 other shelters and rescue groups in their “Click to Feed” project.
– we have also undertaken to support two other very deserving organizations that Barking Mad supports (listed below)
– website: http://www.barkingmad.co.za/
2. Animal Ambulance:
– a 24 hour Emergency Centre, helping sick & abused animals
– website: http://www.animalambulance.co.za/
3. Paws ‘R Us
– an organization which dedicates their time, energy and talents towards the improvement of animal welfare structures.
– they also serve as a rescue and re-homing centre
– They unfortunately do not as yet have a website, but they do have a Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Paws-R-Us/148998991839716

WE INVITE EVERYONE to come through and join us on Sunday 25 November:
– the dealerships, club members, and public will be meeting with all donated items at 09h15 at the Caltex / Maxi’s overhead Restaurant N1 northbound. We will be there for a breakfast Meet and Greet until 10h30.
– At 10h45, we will all depart in convoy for the Barking Mad premises.
– The other two organizations, Animal Ambulance and Paws ‘R Us, will be joining us at the Barking Mad premises.
– There is a 1km route where we will be able to take the animals for a walk, and play with them, etc.
– We have decided to volunteer some of our time to assist on the premises, and everyone is welcome to do so as well.
– If you cannot make it to attend this day, but would like to support any of these causes by making a donation, we urge you to please do so! Please send your proof of payment / donation to: events@twincamclub.co.za
We would to extend our thanks and gratitude to you for assisting with these very deserving causes, and look forward to seeing you on the day! Let’s help our furry friends 🙂
This is a wonderful initiative and the kindest gesture there is – to give back to those who cannot speak – or fend – for themselves. I am a huge supporter of Barking Mad and they are indeed a worth recipient of your charity drive. Keep on Leading SA 🙂
